2010: The foundation stone of the building is laid.
2012: The construction of the building, work of the architect Salvador Giné i Macià, is finished.
2014: once the museography is settled, the Lluís Companys Interpretation Centre is inaugurated.
2019: Tornabous town council joined to Xarxa d’Espais de Memòria of Memorial Democràtic.
2020: The full Council of Tornabous approves a new name: “Espai Lluís Comapnys”. Generalitat de Catalunya, Deputation of Lleida, Regional Council of Urgell and Tornabous town council sign a collaboration agreement for its operation.
